I think people are slightly scared but who cares, it's just us! Also, just think of all those forum members who are Italian and write in an awful Italian, with no grammar, lots of spelling mistakes and don't even realise it (sorry, that was naughty of me!)

This reminds me of a favourite game of mine that I used to play at high school... we used to "English" idiomatic sentences in Italian, but without translating them: they were transliterations, rather than translations. One of my favourites was out like a balcony * but there were plenty more...
