Ok, I feel slightly stupid writing in English on this forum... ...Very stupid, actually  But it is a good idea and, for me personally, it means that I get my long-time dream of finding something totally identical to Equiweb but in English, a pseudo-English-Equiweb or something like that  (I changed the title, it sounded better than "What nobody cares about"!) |

Oh my God! It's a good initiative, after all, isn't it? So, my english is much more a technical one than colloquial.....Anyway....Here I am. I hope we won't remain speechless in a couple of posts!!!

wonderful! i can improve my english also in equiweb! a pretext to read equiweb instead of studying... (non oso immaginare cos'ho scritto )

Nicola, be patient, I think it's actually getting quite lively! YAY! I think people are slightly scared but who cares, it's just us!  Also, just think of all those forum members who are Italian and write in an awful Italian, with no grammar, lots of spelling mistakes and don't even realise it (sorry, that was naughty of me!)Anyway, I was thinking exactly the same thing -- my English is way too academic to fit in here Firi, I laughed so much  you need to brush up your English.

This reminds me of a favourite game of mine that I used to play at high school... we used to "English" idiomatic sentences in Italian, but without translating them: they were transliterations, rather than translations. One of my favourites was out like a balcony *  but there were plenty more...Edited to say: *Just for fun, of course. We were fully aware that they were incorrect, but we found it so funny! I still do it now, just because the look on Ben's face afterwards tends to be quite priceless
